Throughout its history the Flamenco Biennial has been a key event in the world of flamenco, and is now firmly established as one of the most attractive cultural exhibitions in this genre. In this edition, and under the title “Flamenco de viva voz”, ("Flamenco out loud"), the Biennial is back once again with a series of bold and groundbreaking shows.

In the category of cantaores, or flamenco singers, the Biennial features some of the most outstanding stars of the new generation of artists such as María Pagés, Andrés Marín, Rocío MolinaEva Yerbabuena, among others. The stages of the Maestranza, Central, Lope de Vega and Alameda theatres, and the Hotel Triana, will witness a first-class display of the art of flamenco in the festival's programme. and

There is a also a series of activities organised in parallel to this year's Biennial, including particularly exhibitions on urban art, the International Congress of European Dance Historians, book launches, etc.
